Digital Delights

Good morning dear friends. It is time for another wonderful sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week's sketch is from our very own Jessi, and I know it is going to be one of those "go to" sketches for many of us. Here it is:

Don't you just LUV it?

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  The prize is a $5 voucher for Wendy's adorable images!  I know you are going to have a super hard time making a choice!

My card features Flower Power Basket of Daisies.

I have colored my image with Copic markers after printed it onto Xpress It brand card. The card base is the yellow color found in the patterned paper. I have matted my DP with blue card stock. I've also matted my image with the blue. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from my stash.

Remember we are looking for a few more DT members (preferably two more), so if you are interested, please go to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and have a look at the requirements. We really would love to have you on our team. Even if you don't feel you can devote the time to the design team, we would like to see what you do with our sketch this week. We've been having so many lovely entries of late, and it has been so very exciting to see the sketches being used in so many creative ways.

Happy crafting!

Tea Cup Kitty

Happy Tuesday, y'all! It is time for another wonderful sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. Our fantastic sponsor this week is Sami Stamps. I am especially partial to Sami Stamps, having served for over a year on Sami's design team. Here is this week's wonderful sketch:

I have used the image, Kitty Cup 2

I combined coloring with Copic markers and paper piecing on this adorable image. I wanted the cup to have a floral tea set look, so I pieced it. I printed the base image and colored the kitty head. Then I printed the image onto the floral paper and cut out the cup, adhering that to the base image. I then printed the image again and colored the kitten paw and tail so they could be cut and placed over the rim of the cup. The two gems are from Studio 6.

The card base is a piece of cream card. The blue card has been dry embossed with a Cricut embossing folder. The band across the card is a piece of green (matches the leaves in the tea cup floral) with the cream on top. The flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts (small) and Recollections (blue rose).

Remember, we are still looking for two new DT members. If you are interested, you will need to use all four sketches from this month. If you have missed a week, you can still "catch up" by posting the missed sketch on your blog (see the Tuesday Morning Blog for full details).

Purple Flowers

This week our sketch is full of flowers and/or fun things. I've pretty much followed the sketch as it is, but you will want to stop by the Tuesday Morning Blog and see the different ways the DT members have used this sketch.

First off, let's take a look at the sketch:

Rather pretty, isn't it?

And for using the sketch what might you win? A plethora of wonderful things; three brand new Spellbinders embossing folders and three brand new clear stamp sets (two Brenda Walton sets and a Clear Stamps set). Here is the picture:

I used an A4 size white card base with purple chevron paper for the background. I computer generated the sentiment and cut it into a rectangle shape which I matted with green paper. I then used lovely lavender roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. (I may end up cutting the stems off the roses, but for now I've left them. I did not glue them down, so they can be easily removed. However, they are not causing problem or hazards to the card, so may just leave them.)

Anyway, have fun with this sketch and join the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge for your chance to win some fab prizes.

Tilda in Purple

This week, we have another fantastic prize sponsored by another of our wonderful team members. Kris has put together a grab bag of stamps (20+)  plus a package of heart doilies and some heart lace ribbon. Here is a picture:

Now all you have to do to be in the running to win those fab prizes is use this week's sketch, make your own creation and enter it on the Tuesday Morning Blog! Here is the super sketch that you will need to use:

Easy-peasy, right? This is a super sketch and so easy and fun to create with. I used bits and pieces of scraps from other card projects to make my base for my sweet Magnolia image. The card went together super quickly but looks as if I spent a lot of time and effort. You should see what the other team members have done. Each and every card looks different and quite lovely. This is definitely a "go-to" sketch for a magnificent one of a kind creation.

Have a good week. Hope to see your creation among the entries at Tuesday Morning Sketches!
