Make a Wish

So happy that you're here.  We have a great sketch this week created by Debbie.

Our sponsor this week is Patti Rowe, CTMH Independent Demonstrator.  Here's a special message from our sponsor:

Hey Tuesday Morning Sketchers!

It's my birthday and I'm celebrating by sponsoring this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

For the challenge prize I'm giving away a "You Mean the World to Me" set  and a pack of 50 6 x 6 sheets of CTMH paper/cardstock combo.  Plus I will send ANYONE who places an order on my site during the challenge week a free "Hello Friend" stamp!

I think the DT needs to win something too don't you??  So I'm going to have my CTMH and Facebook friends and would like all of you to vote for your favorite artwork created by the 6 Design Team artists!!  The DT winner gets to pick out the Close to My Heart stamp set or paper pack of their choice up to $20!!

Do you understand why we love this lady? I also have to admit that I very much like the products from CTMH (I, myself, was a demonstrator some 20 years ago.)

Patti sent each of us DT members a set of wonderful sentiments to use with our sketch. I created my card using the "Make a Wish" sentiment. The lovely font and the size of the sentiment make it very easy to use the sentiment alone as the focal point (as I have done) or to use with an image or other elements! I have used a piece of DP from -- oops, I failed to write down the pad the paper came from; I'm so sorry. Anyway, the fishtail banner pieces were cut using the Silhouette cutter and paper from the same pad. The scalloped matting for the sentiment is actually very close in color to the numeral four on the background paper; however, the lighting makes it look more blue-purple than red-purple. I don't think the off color detracts, though, as the card is colorful and fun and either of the purples did goes with the total look.

We would so love for you to join our challenge this week. As you noticed above, Patti is providing an awesome prize for a very lucky person -- it may just very well be YOU! In the mean time, stop by the TMS blog and have a look at the inspiration the rest of the DT have provided (remember to leave a comment as to which DT card you like best).

Happy crafting - Jenée
