Spring Blossom

Hello fellow crafters. This week we have another brand new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, and I know it is going to become a fast favorite. Before I show you the sketch, let me say that this week's sponsor is the wonderful Sami Stamps. I'm a bit partial, having been on her original design team, but I think Sami's images are just wonderful.

Here is the sketch you will need to use this week in order to qualify for a chance at winning some of Sami's lovely images:

This sketch can be used horizontally as shown or turned and used vertically. Either way, the results are quite lovely.

I kept the original vertical format for my card. I started with a white base card, and layered it with a lovely soft green. I then cut two panels of the soft floral DP for the main background and a matching strip for the side panel. I have added white flower shaped lace between the horizontal panels and the vertical striped panel. My lovely image is called Spring Blossom. I colored the image with Copic markers after printing it off onto Neenah solar white card. I added three pink pearls (Recollections) to the bottom of the striped panel, and I added a sentiment (layered onto a green circle) to the top of the striped panel.

Please visit the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see the cards the other DT members have made to inspire you. As always, you will find lovely examples showing various ways to use the weekly sketch. Then, join in this week's challenge for a chance to win some Sami Stamps images of your choice.
