Thinking of You Tea Time
Hi Friends. This is Tuesday, so you know what that means, right? Tuesday Morning Sketches has another "classic" look to share with you this week, and here it is:
Tuesday Morning is sponsoring yet again with a great price. Some lucky person will get a stamp and die set by Sizzix (sorry I don't have a photo at this time).
I have used a creamed colored base (it appears white in the photo but is a cream color), and I've layered it with a pretty floral paper from K&Company. The other two patterned paper are complimentary prints from the same K&Company pad. The pink oval is actually the back side of the floral print. I cut the tea pot and one cup from the complimentary blue piece, and a second cup from the pink. The sentiment is an old stamp, and I used Oak Brown ink by CTMH. I then used a Spellbinder nested oval die to cut out the sentiment and adhere it to the top of the pink oval.
I used the two little cups in place of the flower. I adhered the blue one flat but used tiny foam dots to life the pink one. The teapot replaces the heart. To finish off the card, I added three pinkish pearls to two of the corners.
We've been having some really great prizes lately -- all leading up to our 8th anniversary this summer. Hope you will join us this week and every week for your chance to win some great gifts.
Happy crafting!
