Did my title get your attention? It is time for another Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge with a brand new sketch for you, and this week we are being sponsored by Sweet and Sassy Stamps. Aha! you say as you see the connection, right? I know, may be a little corny, but it is early in the day, so I haven't had my caffine quota as yet (that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!).
First, let me share this week's sketch with you. It is a wonderful sketch -- so easy to use and quite versatile, actually.
Now don't you agree? Regardless of your style (CAS or fussy), this sketch will work for you. Don't believe me? Then hop on over to the TMS challenge blog and have a look at what the DT has done using this sketch!
I've used one of Sweet and Sassy Stamps adorable mouse images. Doesn't he look a bit mischievous hiding behind that apple? I've colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it (gasp, yes I actually fussy cut). The card is a white base with DPs from both My Mind's Eye and Jilly Bean paper pads, matted with brown card. The sentiment is computer generated, cut into an oval and matted with brown card. Both the oval and the scallop oval for the sentiment are Spellbinder dies. That's it. Cute image, fab sketch and a few designer papers, and I have a really nifty (if I say so myself) friendship card.
Now, let's see what you create using our great sketch. As with all of our challenges, you must use our sketch. You can turn it or flip it, but we must be able to recognize the original sketch in your work. You have from now through Sunday to link your creation to the challenge blog, and we really hope you will as we very much {heart} seeing the beautiful work everyone does.
Aw, this guy is so cute!! Great idea to fussy cut him and add the sentiment to the same panel!!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun if the whole TMS DT could get together and "do lunch" someday??
