We're sponsored by Patti Rowe, CTMH Independent Demonstrator. Patti is also a very loyal player of TMS. We're so happy that she's here.
And yes! It's Judged Challenge week, so the twist is a color combo...
Green, Blue, Black
My bad in that my card does not follow the color theme for our challenge. I am also missing some of the elements of our sketch. OK, I could give you this story about how the remodeling of the house has me living in clutter and chaos, so I'm completely befuddled and lucky to get my card done at all. I could give you the story of how my husband's garden is doing the best it has in years and we're having a hard time keeping up with freezing and canning the produce. I could tell you we went out of town for the 4th of July which threw me a day behind. All those things are true, but the fact of the matter is that I just didn't get my act together this week, so I was scurrying at the last minute and simply missed some of the details. Bad Jenée, bad girl!
OK, so much for the silly apology. On to my card. This week our sponsor is Patti Rowe who is a Close to my Heart demonstrator. Having been a CTMH demonstrator, myself, at one time, I really like the product, and I highly recommend the stamps, inks and papers (especially papers). Having said that, I have to confess that only the sentiment and ink on my card are from CTMH. (I told you I didn't have my head in the game this week!)
Once I created my white card base and layered it with the designer papers (Reunion by My Mind's Eye), I realized our sponsor was CTMH, so I pulled out a set of My Acrylic (CTMH copyrighted name) and picked the sentiment which I stamped using CTMH Tropical Blue ink. I then cut out the sentiment using Spellbinder Labels Fourteen die.
Do take a few minutes and hop over to the TMS blog to have a look at the wonderful cards my teamies have made using this sketch. They all did a wonderful and beautiful card. I know you will enjoy seeing them.
A wonderful take on the sketch and I love the design papers.

Jenee your card is fabulous! No worries about not using the twist, life does get a little crazy some times! Wish I could say my garden was producing as well as yours, so far the only thing that seems to be doing well is the zucchini!
ReplyDeleteThe twist kept me stumped for weeks - I just kept staring at it! I love the fun mix of patterns on your card :)
