Flutter By #209

It's time for another Flutter By Wednesday Challenge! Thanks to all of you who have been joining us each week!! We love seeing your creations!

This week, our challenge is to use Kraft cardstock (or a similar color) on your creations along with your butterfly or fairy!

 

For my card, I used a lovely fairy by A Day for Daisies. I colored her with Copic markers in fall colors, then cut the image into an oval. I inked around the edge of the oval with orange ColorBox ink and then matted it on kraft card. My base card is a light tan card by DCWV. I placed a mat of brown kraft on top and then a rusty orange on top of the craft. I cut four square of DP from a piece of scrap I had left over from another card I'd made. I used brown ribbon in the area between the DP squares. I added the leaves (Recollections) and an orange flower (also Recollections), the sentiment (which I printed from my computer and also cut into an oval, inked and matted), and the gems. Voila! A lovely fall card.
