Flutter with a Twist

This week at Flutter By Wednesday, we are asking you to create your fluttery creation using the color scheme green, blue and yellow. You may use other colors, but those three MUST be prominent on your card.

I've used a lovely little fairy by Wags and Whiskers which I've colored up using my Copic markers. You'll note that I have used just the three required colors with the exception of the skin and hair of my little image. My card is white base layered with a navy blue card (which I've used as my matting for all the pieces). The three designer papers are by K&Co. I was thrilled to see the fern design that I used as my background. I think of fairies living in the forests among the ferns and mosses (except those who pay for lost teeth and then we all know where they live). The second green layer is a pattern of small leaves. My yellow doily is cut using LifeStyle Kraft's nesting doilies set D0429 (may be purchased from Darlene at Dutch Paper Crafts). I added a couple of little rhinestones and the flowers (Recollections and Wild Orchid Crafts), and I hand punched the leaves out of the same yello as the doily.
