Little Pumpkin

Happy Tuesday! It is time for another Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch. This one is super great. You are going to enjoy using it. Here it is:

Our sponsor this week is the fantastic Bugaboo Stamps. Their adorable images are so fun to color up and to use. Our winner will get a choice of 4 images of their choice! My card features Kidlet Pumpkin

I have used a black card base for my cute little Halloween card. The background DP is, believe it or not, from my scrap bag, so I can't tell you the manufacturer. I know it came from a kit of Halloween papers and embellishments, but that's all I can remember. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and orange grosgrain ribbon to create my top.

I printed my kidlet pumpkin onto X-Press it brand card and colored it with my Copic markers. I then fussy cut the little guy out so that I could use foam pop-dots to add him to the scalloped oval background. The inside of the oval is another piece of Halloween scrap. I used the Spellbinder oval and oval scallop dies.

I did leave off the black brads that I was going to use (left side) because the background was to busy and the brands would have just gotten lost and or detracted from the paper's cute little images.

Stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and look at the beautiful cards the DT have made this week. Click on the DT's name above her card and you will automatically be directed to that person's individual blog where you will find additional information about her card. Then, if you haven't started on your own card, get busy! We so enjoy seeing the work out followers do!

  1. That is some of the cutest Halloween paper I've seen yet and the adorable image you chose is a perfect match to it! I love how the image spills out of the die cut panel she's on, giving a fun overall look to this great card! I agree - I think omitting the black brads was a good idea, because the paper has a lot of cute designs to feast the eyes on :)
