This Tuesday, we have a terrific sketch by team mate Kris for you to use in our weekly challenge, and our sponsor this week is Sweet 'N Sassy. I'm sure that by now you are all familiar with and in love with those adorable Sweet 'N Sassy characters, and while many women are not particularly fond of mice, I LUV Sweet N' Sassy's little guy!
I have used a QuicKutz embossing folder to create the top part of my card. I embossed a piece of Core'ordinate card weight and sanded the words so they would show better. I have used a piece of striped card for the bottom.
I printed my image and matted it with a piece of green card. I then cut three balloons (LaLa Land die) from pieces of scraps that matched the stripes. I added a Baker's twine bow to the "strings" of the balloons.

ReplyDeleteFantastic card Jenee! It's truly a happy birthday card. I love that Core'dinations card stock. I have some and never think about it. The embossing is a perfect backdrop to the Cocoa image.
