Angels We Have Heard on High

Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realising it!" Hebrews 13:2 NLT

Our theme for you this week at Twist of Faith Challenges is

ANGELS

Your card creation should show Angels.... simple, huh! And remember our 'twist'... your card should include a scripture, or inspirational quote or message.... it doesn't have to be on front of the card, but do show that it's there!
This week, our sponsor is MICHELLE PERKETT STUDIOS!

Our random prize winner will receive their choice of one of the gorgeous images showcased by our design team in this challenge post! We are thrilled to have MPS sponsoring our challenges... because the images are so beautiful! You will definitely want to go over to our Twist of Faith blog and have a look at the gorgeous cards the DT have created using Michelle's images.

People today have the misconception that angels do not exist even though the Bible mentions angels various times. I am fully convinced that there are angels among us just as they were during Biblical Times. Angels exist in both the unseen form and through the acts and hearts of humans. Those unexplained actions that cause one to stop or hesitate at a certain time which ultimately saves one from harm are, I believe, the results of an angel. The stranger or friend who, without cause, appears at just the needed time or helps because they just "felt the need" are the results of angels. I believe angels walk with us as agents of God to help guide us. There are those who dismiss this idea and argue that those things are from God and not from angels, but angels are from God; they are His messenger; they are His special agents; they are of God and are Heavenly beings. Therefore, why should we not believe that He uses them to help us and guide us and lead us in life? They do not lessen God's role in my life. They are simply another dimension of His love for me that He cares enough to send an angel to watch over me. Amen.

So my card uses a praying angel whose eyes are turned toward Heaven. Isn't she beautiful? I've colored her up, as usual, with copic markers on Cryogen paper. The white card base is matted with black card and then a layer of DP. The image is matted with black and brown card, as is the sentiment. The ribbon is a dark burgundy velvet, and my blue rhinestones are by Recollections from Michael's Crafts.

God bless, and may your guardian angel be ever near.
